Quebec fund, CKD express interest in Mexican network

Mexico's Secretariat of Communications and Transportation (SCT) has welcomed the interest shown by national and international investors for the planned shared wireless network. Interest has been expressed by investment fund Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec (CDPQ) together with CKD Infraestructura Mexico (CKD IM). The wholesale network is the first project under the proposed public-private partnership in the sector and one of the most important projects of the reform of the telecommunications sector. The tender is open until August, and the winning bidder is expected to be announced late
