Quebecor posts revenue growth of 1.1% in Q1

Quebecor's first-quarter revenues rose year-over-year by CAD 11.4 million, or 1.1 percent to reach CAD 1.04 billion. Adjusted operating income was CAD 346.5 million, 6.6 percent. Net income rose to CAD 40.7 million or CAD 0.33 per share from CAD 35.6 million or CAD 0.29 per share a year ago. Adjusted income from continuing operations was USD 49.3 million or USD 0.40 per share. The Telecommunications segment grew its revenues by4.8 percent, and its adjusted operating income by 7.0 percent.
