Costa Rica state-owned ISP Racsa announced that it will focus on the corporate and public sector segments, El Financiero reports. The firm also confirmed that it will gradually stop offering telecoms services to the residential segment. Costa Rica's ICE president Carlos Obregon recently said that the group expects to make Racsa profitable before 2018. Obregon said that Racsa has been losing money for the past three to four years, mainly due to the drop in internet customers, from 120,000 to the current 20.000. Racsa provides internet for the corporate, SME and residential segments.
