Radisys launches OS EPC for M-Cord project

Friday 11 November 2016 | 14:06 CET | News
Radisys launched its Evolved Packet Core (EPC) software as the industry's first open source software under the Apache 2.0 licence for ON.Lab's Mobile-Cord (M-Cord) project. M-Cord is built on top of Onos and the Cord (Central Office Re-architected as a Datacenter) open source project that combines data centre economics and the agility of the cloud with the benefits of a virtualised and disaggregated mobile core, as well as access infrastructure and mobile edge computing for innovation and deployment of 5G.
