Rai to remove all videos from YouTube – report

Italian public broadcaster Rai is set to remove as many as 40,000 of its videos from Google's YouTube service after deciding not to renew an agreement between the two companies that dates back to 2008. According to a report in Italian business daily Il Sole 24 Ore, the broadcaster intends to remove the HD videos from YouTube on 01 June, making them available exclusively on Rai.tv with a view to generating increased advertising revenue.
