Rain plans to launch 5G network

Rain has announced that it will be launching a 5G network, reports BusinessTech. Rain said it has phased in a 4G grid over the past eighteen months that covers the metro areas of South Africa. The network now comprises more than 2,500 towers and will increase to 5,000 over the next two years, and Rain now aims to roll out a 5G broadband fixed-wireless network in conjunction with Huawei and Nokia.
