Rain shareholder raises valuation in its annual results

Friday 13 September 2019 | 09:20 CET | News
African Rainbow Capital (ARC) has increased the value it attaches to telecom operator Rain, TechCentral reported. In its full-year results to 30 June, ARC said it has raised the valuation from ZAR 2.1 billion on 30 June 2018 to ZAR 2.5 billion, citing a fair value write-up of ZAR 364 million. ARC holds 20 percent of Rain so this implies a valuation of ZAR 12.5 billion.
