Rakuten Mobile takes equity stake in JTower

JTower has announced it has entered a capital alliance with Rakuten Mobile, to promote infra-sharing in indoor and outdoor areas by using sharing equipment and sharing towers, mainly in the development of 4G and 5G networks. Rakuten Mobile will acquire a portion of JTower's shares from Atsushi Tanaka, its representative director, and take an equity stake in JTower.
