Recommerce launches rental service for phones, tablets

French second-hand phone vendor Recommerce has started to rent smartphones andtablets by the week, month or year. The Fleexi service launches with the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5. Operator Free Mobile already rents phones, but only for 2-year terms. It costs EUR 54 to use an iPhone 6 for a week, but over a year, the price drops to EUR 34 every month. An iPad 2 costs EUR 30 a week, while the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 costs EUR 54 for a week and EUR 108 for a year. Even the old Nokia 3310 feature phone can be rented for EUR 0.02 a day. Recommerce collects and sells around 50,000 phones a tablets
