Record 771 billion emails sent in Germany in 2017 - study

The two web hosting providers expect that growth in the number of emails will remain high in 2018, estimating that 917 billion emails will be sent in Germany this year. Research shows that increased usage of email by companies to directly engage with customers is responsible for the high uptick in emails sent last year, said the two providers.
