RedClara picks Global Crossing's connectivity services

Latin American academic consortium RedClara has signed a three-year contract with IP and Ethernet services provider Global Crossing for connectivity services between Sao Paulo, Brazil and Madrid, Spain. This service expands RedClara's collaboration with Global Crossing, which includes collocation services in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Venezuela and enables RedClara to connect its network of more than 700 universities and research centres in Latin America with more than 3,500 academic institutions throughout Europe and the rest of the world.
