Refinery29 selects Verizon EdgeCast Device Detection service

Verizon Digital Media Services has announced that Refinery29, the largest independent women's style website in the US, has selected its EdgeCast Device Detection services to improve the user experience for its mobile users. The service, part of Verizon EdgeCast's Optimise suite, moves the intelligence of adapting site behaviour for specific devices to the edge of the network, closer to the end user. By integrating advanced device detection, intelligent caching, application acceleration and advanced front-end optimisation capabilities directly on edge servers, Verizon is optimising experiences
