Reggefiber network grows to 1.82 mln lines in Q2

Reggefiber rolled out 66,000 fibre lines in the second quarter of 2014, for a total 1.821 million. KPN, the largest shareholder in Reggefiber and in the process of taking management control, aims to add 250,000 homes passed in all of 2014. With 67,000 in Q1 and 66,000 in Q2, the operator is slightly ahead of schedule with its annual target. The customer base on the Reggefiber network rose by 19,000 in Q2, of which KPN and its brands accounted for 11,000 subscribers. The total number of homes activated reached 586,000 at the end of June, equal to a penetration of 32.2 percent of homes passed.
