Replay TV viewing on the rise in France - study

Some 2.2 million French TV viewers, or 4.3 percent of the population aged 15 or more, watched replay TV on any type of screen in the second quarter, according to a study by audience measurement company Mediametrie. This is 22 percent more replay TV viewers than there were at the end of last year. The average viewing time for catch-up TV services is 1 hour and 33 minutes a day. On a specific day, 1.3 million people watched catch-up TV on their TV sets, 750,000 on a computer and 340,000 on a tablet or smartphone.
