Research and education networks create ring between Asia-Pacific, Europe

Asia and Europe further strengthened their collaboration with an MoU that will see eight research and education networks agreeing to provide a backup path for each other in the event of any link failure. This collaboration enhances the 100Gbps CAE-1 system launched in June, and will benefit researchers in Europe, Asia and Australia.
