Retailers not quite prepared for mobile payment - study

Industry experts for payment and digitalisation How2Pay and Muecke, Sturm & Company published a study on mobile payment in Germany. The study shows that retailers are not well-enough prepared for the market launch. Members of staff at points of sale are not trained sufficiently about the payment method, causing long waiting times and delays when paying. As a result of those bad experiences, customers do not accept the new payment method. Only a few providers manage to offer their customers tangible and customer-friendly solutions.
