Review to clear Huawei cyber security centre - report

The UK's National Security Adviser, Sir Kim Darroch, is expected to give the all-clear to Chinese telecoms company Huawei, reports The Times newspaper. He was asked to review operations at Huawei's cyber security evaluation centre in Banbury after members of the Parliamentary Intelligence and Security Committee expressed concern that the UK was vulnerable to cyber spying. It is understood that the review has found that the centre, which is staffed by former GCHQ staff, is safe.
