RFT Kabel activates public Wi-Fi network in Brandenburg an der Havel

Stadtwerke Brandenburg an der Havel, a municipal utilities firm, and network operator RFT Kabel have activated a free public Wi-Fi network for the city of Brandenburg an der Havel. The public WiFi network "BRB-WLAN" will at first be available to residents and visitors at six different access points throughout the city, with more access points slated to be added in the near future, wrote RFT Kabel. Users who log into the network will be able to surf the internet at no cost for two hours at a time.
