Ribeirao Preto first municipality in Sao Paulo to receive Vivo 4G on 700 MHz

Brazilian mobile operator Vivo has activated 4G on the 700 MHz band in Ribeirao Preto, the first large city in the state of Sao Paulo to receive the upgrade, which will bring better indoor and outdoor coverage, as well as offering a better connectivity experience for the operator's customers, it said. Since 2013, the city had 4G coverage on the 2,600 MHz frequency, the first available range for 4G in Brazil. More than half of its sites are already prepared to receive 4G on the new frequency, previously used by analogue TV and radio stations. Vivo also offers the city of Ribeirao Preto access
