Rlg enters Kenyan market with plans for Tanzania and Uganda

ICT device assembler Rlg communications has entered Kenya and is hoping to enter Tanzania and Uganda using its Nairobi base under a plan intended to capture the entire continent within the next five years, MyJoybusiness reported. Already, a number of telecom firms and distributors have expressed an interest in working with Rlg, a company perceived by many Kenyans as a true pan-African brand. Rlg's flagship product, the combined tablet and laptop Uhuru, has its name from a Kiswahili word meaning freedom. The product is said to have taken over the tablet market in a number of African countries,
