Rocket Internet divests stake in Jumia

Tuesday 7 April 2020 | 10:12 CET | News
Rocket Internet said it had sold its stake in African e-commerce company Jumia, which has seen its shares steadily fall since they listed in April 2019 on Wall Street, Reuters reported. Rocket Internet had held an 11 percent stake in Jumia as of 08 November and sold its holding between then and the onset of the coronavirus crisis, said Bettina Curtze, the firm's head of finance and investments, declining to be more precise.
