Roku revenues jump 42% in Q2 on strong sales of streaming players

Roku reported revenues for the second quarter up 42 percent to USD 356.1 million. The company said it saw strong demand for its streaming devices, with 3.2 million new accounts added in the quarter, as well as outperforming the advertising market. As it invests to take advantage of the streaming market momentum, it expects to run at an adjusted EBITDA loss for the year.
