Romania awards two DTT multiplexes for Iasi, Timisoara

Romania's telecommunications authority Ancom awarded two new local multiplexes for two new cities, Iasi and Timisoara, during its fourth DTT auction. M Plus investments won the local multiplex for Iasi, while Nova Media won the multiplex for Timisoara. Both companies have to pay a licence fee of EUR 8,000 each within 90 calendar days from the date the auction's results were announced. The government established these licence fees in February 2014.
