Romania tax body lifts seizure on Nokia assets in Romania

Nokia has paid the USD 10 million tax claimed by Romania's tax authority ANAF, Ziarul Financiar reports citing ANAF representatives. ANAF representatives told the paper that the block on Nokia's local assets in Jucu, imposed last month, has now been lifted. The amount represents unpaid customs duties accumulated by Nokia. The seized assets included ​​28,000 square metres of the company's real estate in Jucu, including offices and production halls.
