Romanian authority consults on new technical conditions for calls to 112

Romanian telecom authority Ancom opened a public consultation on the technical conditions for IP-based interconnection between the National Unique System for Emergency Calls (SNUAU) and Telekom Romania, the operator that ensures calls to 112. The new type of IP interconnection will work in parallel with the existing interconnection platform, all calls being thus received regardless of the used technical conditions.
