Romanian authority proposes lower mobile termination rate

Romanian telecommunications authority Ancom launched a public consultation on a proposal to reduce the maximum tariff for termination of mobile calls from January 2020. As a transitional measure, until the adoption of an EU-wide tariff, Ancom proposes the application of a regulated maximum tariff of 0.76 eurocents per minute, down from the existing rate of 0.84 cents.
