Romanian court orders ISP block on pirated movie websites

Bucharest's court of justice issued a decision in favour of eight international cinema production firms that blocks local fixed internet users' access to several pirated movie websites for copyright infringement, writes local publication Hotnews.ro. The decision may be appealed at the Bucharest Court of Appeal within 30 days. The decision concerns customers of RCS&RDS, Telekom Romania, UPC, Nextgen, DCS and Akta. The complainants in this case are from Twentieth Century Fox Film, Universal City Studios Productions, Universal Cable Productions, Warner Bros Entertainment INC, Paramount Pictures,
