Romanian operators' revenues up 1% in 2018 to RON 16 bln

Romanian operators' revenues from the provision of electronic communications networks and services grew by 1.3 percent in 2018 to RON 16.1 billion, according to statistical data from telecommunications authority Ancom. Romania's number of paid-TV service subscriptions grew 3 percent to 7.64 million subscribers in 2018, the same data shows. Also, Ancom said that the national traffic on the telephone networks decreased slightly, while the roaming traffic grew due to the benefits of Roam like at home.
