Romania's Alpha Bank to launch mPOS app for businesses

Romania's Alpha Bank will launch Alpha PhonePOS, an application through which merchants can replace the cash register POS with a POS on the mobile phone, according to local publication Ziarul Financiar citing the company. The platform is being compatible with Android mobile devices. The app will be able to be used without an additional investment in equipment and consumables.
