Romania's Competition Council closes case against Romtelecom

Romania's Competition Council has closed an investigation against Romtelecom in which the operator was accused of abusing its dominant market position by former alternative fixed telephony operator Netmaster Communication, writes local daily business newspaper Ziarul Financiar citing CC representatives. In the same case, Orange Romania and Vodafone Romania were fined in 2011 for abusing their dominant market position with EUR 34 million and EUR 28 million by Romania's Competition Council following complaints made by Netmaster Communication.
