Romania's smartphone market up 4% to 4.7 mln units in 2018

The smartphone market in Romania rose 4 percent year-on-year to 4.7 million units in 2018 in a context in which the market matures and the increases will not be generated by volumes, but by the sales of premium models, writes local paper Ziarul Financiar citing Samsung Romania's head Tiberiu Dobre. The sales value of smartphones delivered in 2018 increased 22 percent to about EUR 1.33 billion.
