Rostelecom builds networks under programme to bridge digital divide

Russian national operator Rostelecom has completed the first stage of the programme to eliminate the digital divide in Kursk region. Public Wi-Fi networks have been established in 26 villages in the region this year, lifting the number to 237 villages . More than 3,000 km of fibre-optic lines have been laid for this purpose.
