Rostelecom commits to Yota deal

Russian national operator Rostelecom plans to complete a deal to work with Wimax operator Yota on the launch of LTE services, Rostelecom CEO Alexander Provotorov told RBC. Even if the other major mobile operators withdraw from the proposed LTE consortium woth Yota, Rostelecom wants to pursue the plan. The operators are expected to take a stake in Yota, but recent reports suggest some of them have balked at the asking price.
