Rostelecom, CPIKS to cooperate on SDN, NFV development

Russian national operator Rostelecom has signed a cooperation agreement with the Russian networks R&D centre CPIKS on the development of SDN (Software Defined Networks) and NFV (Network Functions Virtualization) technologies. The research is expected to support the introduction of the technologies on the network of the national operator, helping reduce operating costs.
