Rostelecom launches video-surveillance in North-Western Russia

Russian national operator Rostelecom has launched a video-surveillance service for households in North-Western Russia. New and current subscribers will be able to use the service under special conditions when also connecting to either broadband, IPTV or telephony services.

The customers will be offered video-surveillance for RUB 300 per month for two years. Subscribers buying a video-camera costing RUB 4,990 will get the service free for one year. The service is based on an OTT-solution. It is expected to be available across the country soon.
