Rostelecom provides regional power company Rosseti-South with virtual data centre service

Russian national operator Rostelecom has provided the regional power distribution company Rosseti-South with its Virtual Data Centre service. The power company works in the Rostov, Astrakhan, Volgograd regions and in the Republic of Kalmykia.

Rosseti-South has hosted its IT infrastructure on the Rostelecom cloud serviec and the national operator deployed a VPN for this purpose. The power company already uses internet, fixed telephony, mobile connection and PBX services from Rostelecom, which has also deployed 105 secure communications lines for Rosseti-South.
