Rostelecom purchases Huawei equipment for RUB 46 mln

Russian national operator Rostelecom has acquired DWDM equipment from Huawei for RUB 46 million, reports Cnews.ru. The equipment will be used for the upgrade of data transmission links in Nizhny-Novgorod and Kirov regions and Mari-El republic. The equipment from Huawei was chosen because the backbone networks of the operator are also based on Huawei products.
