Rostelecom reports 150% rise in demand for smartphones from Xiaomi in H1

Russian national operator Rostelecom has announced that sales of smartphones from Xiaomi jumped by 150 percent year-on-year in its shops in the first half of this year. The average retail price of the Xiaomi smartphones purchased was RUB 12,000 in its shops. The most popular models were the Redmi 5, Redmi 5 Plus, Redmi 5A and Redmi Note 5.
