Rostelecom, Tattelecom cooperate on reducing digital divide

Russian national operator Rostelecom plans to sign an agreement, under the framework of the federal programme to eliminate the digital divide in villages, with regional operator Tattelecom, operating in the Republic of Tatarstan. The contract will enable the national operator to deploy Wi-Fi hot-spots in objects belonging to Tattelecom in small settlements. The contract is worth up to RUB 1.3 billion. The contract will be valid until 30 June, 2024.
