Rostelecom to install 3G base stations from Ericsson

Russian national operator Rostelecom has acquired 2,500 3G base stations from Ericsson, for deployment in Moscow, Vedomosti reported. Locations have already been selected for 250 base stations. Rostelecom invested USD 160 million in the acquisition and installation of the base stations.
