Rostelecom to launch new gaming platform

Russian national operator Rostelecom has announced a tender for the design of software for a gaming platform, reports Cnews.ru. The tender has been announced on the Rostelecom website and on the Setonline.ru portal. The specification indicates that Rostelecom aims to launch a online gaming shop like the the Steam gaming service from Valve or the Origin service from Electronic Arts. Applications from Steam and the Battle.net gaming service from Blizzard have been mentioned as software examples in the tender announcement.
