Rostelecom to upgrade IPTV platform

Russian national operator Rostelecom plans to upgrade its IPTV platform, reports Comnews.ru. The current platform was launched in 2012. The national operator plans to spend RUB 344 million on he upgrade, which will see the introduction of a content management system. The national operator has announced two tenders around the upgrade. Applications will be accepted until 5 May for the first tender. The tender for equipment supplies from Huawei, Juniper, Intel and Cisco has been divided into four lots.
