Rovi, Sky extend patent licence agreement

Rovi has signed an extension of a multi-year, multi-territory patent licence agreement with European entertainment group Sky. The renewal extends Sky's previous licence agreement and gives it continuous access to Rovi's entertainment discovery patent portfolio. Alun Webber, Managing Director, Product Design and Development at Sky, said that its relationship with Rovi allowed it to provide customers with intuitive and personalised user experiences.
