Rovio says head of brand licensing unit leaves in January as it makes 16 workers redundant

Rovio Entertainment said it will make sixteen people in its brand licensing business unit redundant, adding that unit head Simo Hamalainen is leaving at the end of January 2020. The company said negotiations ended on 25 November concerning 32 people in the unit affected by restructuring. When talks started in October, it was estimated that up to 20 jobs could go worldwide.
