RRJ-led consortium closing USD 4 bln deal for Ingram Micro - report

A consortium led by Hong Kong-based private equity firm RRJ Capital is close to finalising a deal to invest USD 4 billion in HNA unit Ingram Micro for a controlling stake in the US electronics distributor, according to an unnamed source cited by Reuters. HNA acquired Ingram at the end of 2016 for around USD 6 billion but has been in talks to sell the company as part of efforts to trim operations, said the report.
