RU issues licences for local T-DAB multiplexes to Avis

Slovak regulator RU issued additional licences for digital terrestrial radio broadcasting over the standard T-DAB (Terestrial-Digital Audio Broadcast) in other parts of Slovakia. After the issue of licences for the company Towercom for local multiplex T-DAB+ Bratislava, the regulator issued licences for local multiplexes in Nitra and Levice upon request by the company Avis. The provider cooperates on the project with the Research Institute for Communications. The licence for the transmitter in Nitra is valid until 31 December. The transmitter in Levice has alicence valid until 30 June 2017
