RURA could switch off over 900,000 subscribers over new Sim rules

More than 900,000 subscribers could have their simcard switched off as the deadline to comply with the new sim card regulations draws near, New Times reported. Rwanda Utilities and Regulatory Authority (RURA) says an estimated 10 percent of subscribers could be affected. The new regulations on ownership of Sim cards announced by RURA requires nationals and foreign residents to have a maximum of three Sim cards on each network.
