Russia needs RUB 70 bln for LPWAN coverage - study

Deployment of the IoT network using LPWAN technology in Russian cities will cost RUB 35-50 billion, reports Cnews.ru citing a study from the R&D company NIC, a subsidiary of the state-owned corporation Rostec. An additional RUB 20 billion should be invested in the deployment of the LPWAN network alongside motorways.
