Russia to introduce fines for IMEI-code falsification

A council of experts at the Russian government has proposed the introduction of fines for the falsification of handset IMEI-codes, reports Vedomosti. Fines of up to RUB 4,000 have been proposed for individuals and RUB 100,000 for legal entities.
