Russia to spend RUB 48 bln on cloud platform

The Russian Ministry of Communications has decided that the project to launch a single state cloud platform will not be carried out by a single operator, as was planned earlier, reports Kommersant. Other players in the data centre market will also be allowed to participate in the programme. The government plans to spend RUB 47.6 billion to switch IT resources to a single cloud platform by 2024.
